Anyone interested in serving as a Councilmember representing Ward 3 or Ward 4 for the City of Tuttle may file their statements of candidacy at the Grady County Election Board beginning Monday, December 7th, 2020, through Wednesday, December 9th, 2020, during business hours. The General Election will be on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, with a primary election (if needed) on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021. The four-year term will begin in May 2021 through May 2025. The Tuttle City Charter requires any candidate for Councilmember to be, at the time of their election, at least 25 years of age, be a citizen of the United States, have lived in the city limits for at least two years, have lived in their respective ward for at least six months, and have a high school diploma (or equivalent GED).
