We are asking our neighbors to share a small part of the “last mile” fee for residential fiber installation. That means, running the line from the main at the curb into the house. This one-time fee of $240 is just a small portion of the $1,000 actual cost the City of Tuttle is absorbing every time we plug into a new home. Make a one-time payment or set-up a $10 per month (for 24 months) fee on your bill. There is no contract! Just pay the remainder of the installation fee should you discontinue service.

The City of Tuttle is never going to “make money” by offering this public utility to its residents. While the City of Tuttle operates the fiber internet system, it does not “own” the system. The service has been competitively priced, and any income that is made through billing will be reinvested directly back into the system for improved service, maintenance, upgrades, etc.
At this time, we only provide internet service.
Yes, the Tuttle Fiber technician will need to run the cable inside your house to our modem. This requires someone over the age of 18 to be present to allow access.
Yes, the cable will be trenched into your yard. We will try to disrupt your lawn as little as possible.
Yes, you can change your plan if you find you need a different speed. Simply call our Fiber Office during normal business hours at 405-381-8920 to change your plan. The difference will be prorated on your next bill.
You may find more information at cityoftuttlefiber.com, however, the basic cost is the speed package you choose as well as the $240 installation fee. No fee is due upfront, these costs will be billed to you on your City of Tuttle utility bill.
No, we will provide the router. If you choose to use your own router, we can provide a modem for no additional cost that provides service to your router.
Your billing will not start until you start receiving Internet service, usually on the billing cycle after you are installed and online.
You are not required to stop your current service or to connect to the Tuttle Fiber System. However, having two services in a single home can create interference and quality issues.
You will have the opportunity to discuss where the fiber enters the home when the technician is on the premises to install.
Please leave all locator flags in place until after the work is done at your home. If you need to move the flags, please notify the Fiber Department at 405-381-8920. Moving the flags may cause your installation to be delayed.
You will always be provisioned the advertised speeds through our service, and never limited or capped on data. The best way to ensure the highest speeds is to hardwire your devices to your router or use the Wi-Fi within the same room as the router. The types of devices using the service may limit your use of the full speeds you receive, or cause interference that lower speeds. Below are all examples of common factors that could cause slowness:
